Howick is a vibrant and exciting community that still retains an element of yesteryear.

An original 'Fencible' settlement established in 1847 by soldiers from England who were brought out to protect nearby Auckland from possible native uprising, Howick became a seaside holiday destination and later a sought-after suburb of Auckland.

Howick Village - with its cafés, specialist shops, galleries and a friendly relaxed atmosphere - is a must to visit.
