Join us for a celebration of Howick's Unique Fencible Heritage
From Monday 10 October through to Saturday 15 October at 130 Picton Street, there will be displays of old photos, quilting, antique dolls & teddy bears, cross stitch, jewellery, hand crafts, paper art, needlework and much more.

Always a delight, the Howick Historical Village open dialy 10.00am - last admission 4.00pm, cnr Lady Marie Drive and Bells Road, Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga. Phone 576 9506. Charges apply.
On Friday 14 October bring the kids to Howick Village. There will be besom making demonstrations, free face painting and balloon animals, two puppet shows 11.00am and 1.00pm, free Clydesdale pulled wagon rides leaving from outside the Information Service between 10.00am and 3.00pm, clay pipe making, Captain Cook mime artist, music and spinning demonstrations.
Saturday 15 October sees more free entertainment with wagon rides, face painting, balloons, a pipe band at 10.30am, roaming bagpiper, the Town Crier will be out and about. Look out for the 65th Regiment Fencible Soldiers.
Visit All Saints Church on Friday and Saturday and catch one of Alan la Roche's 30 minute talks from 10.00am to 12 noon on the place of Fencible families, the old church and its churchyard, in the history of Howick.
All Saints Indoor Classy Crafts Craft Market is open Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm.
You can even have your photos taken at Timeless Images where we have a selection of Fencible costumes in adult and children's sizes. There will be a nominal charge. Timeless Images are located behind the Howick Information Service in the Howick Village Mall. Just pop into the studio Monday through Saturday morning.
