KICK OFF THE CHRISTMAS SEASON WITH MIDNIGHT MADDESS AT HOWICK VILLAGE THIS FRIDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2011.

No time for shopping?  The good news is the shops are open 9.00am till Midnight.  Specials, bargains - buy now and save for Christmas.

From 6.00pm Picton Street will be closed from the Wellington Street roundabout to the Cook Street/Selwyn Road roundabout.  There will be bands and entertainment from 6.30pm.  Come and enjoy the music, face painting, lucky dips and balloons for the kids, street entertainers - we have stilt walkers, air brush tattoos, puppet shows, Captain Cook, Marcus Winter Artist, dancers.  Hardings Christmas Lighting Extravaganza will be open for the festive season from 7.00pm.  This is a must see - it is even bigger and brighter this year.

So get those Christmas bargains early and enjoy the atmosphere that is Howick Village.
