Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Howick Village Association will be held at the Howick Information Service, 91 Picton Street Howick on Wednesday 24th November 2021 at 6.00pm
This is subject to Alert Level 2 restrictions being in place, otherwise, the meeting will be held electronically – registered members to RSVP to HVA for the electronic meeting link by 22 November 2021.
Nominations for the Chair, Treasurer andExecutive Committee are now open.
A person must be a Member of the Association to vote and stand for election to the Executive Committee.
The procedure for nominations as detailed in Rule 15 of the Constitution is as follows:
Nomination of candidates for election – shall be made in writing, signed by two Members of the Association and accompanied by the written consent of the candidate (which may be endorsed on the nomination form attached) and shall be delivered to the Secretary of the Association (Jane Newbury for the purposes of this AGM) not less than seven days before the date fixed for the AGM.
